No its not as bad as you think. At least to the intake. There may be more dirt/grime/possibly rust but you wont be looking at a hydrolock unless you drive into 4 foot deep water.

A cheap one? Lol I can't afford one now, other stuff is coming. But, jeremydoc said he could get me an rs1 for $70... Maybe in a month or two. I like the oem lip best though.

Doesn't look like you're using thos B&G's, not much lower than the TRD springs, good choice though.

teaser pic that my photographer sent me from a shoot last night, i gotta roll my fenders pronto so i can go A LOT lower.

 

Slammage, please! I'd really like to see a slammed RS5.

 

The rears posted in the pic above is set lowered all the way, and that's preloaded . The fronts I'll have to take the fender liners out as I rub on some dips and bumps. Until I get some new tires put on I'm not messing with the coilovers, it shouldn't be too long though, be about a week or so.

 

deff gonna wanna do what he said and pull them out if not youll hear a lot of rubbing and youll eventually just shred them up

 

That is set all the way down on those BGs? That doesn't seem right... They are supposed to go SUPER low


Edit: Ego, i am pulling them out tonight i think. lol i am tired of rubbing on every bump

 

The lower body is threaded all the way up, it won't go any more higher than in the pic and seems they have gone with a shorter spring this time. B&G, where's the low for the rear? If they shorten the threaded part then there would be no problem getting low and stay comfortable. It's difficult to see in the pics but the rear fender is set right on top of the tire.

 

aaah...I like that so many people have a "photographer," not someone with a camera.
