I like the 2" drop...but cant go tucked with the way roads are in my area...I'd scrape everywhere I went...I have to be careful even now with my 2" drop.

^^ Meaty.....and thank you too bro for the complement on my baby
I've gone the route nice clean n/a performance setup.... The head isnt just shiny because it's sunny out...I actually took the time to polish the block and head.
Wish I had a nice big fat and phat turbo setup under there like yours...but my lady and I are looking to buy another house soon...so I dont have a turbo fund yet. LOL

oh also Meaty... with all that power...I dont know if you have an engine torque dampener or not...(I would've PM'd this but I didn't so anyone that knows could chime in)
I am wanting to get an engine torque dampener..Ingalls stiffy, etc.... But since I have a front strut tower brace...are the stock strut bolts long enough to accommodate having both a strut tower brace AND mounting plate for the engine dampener? Just curious what others have done...I'm asking b/c in looking at the length left to use seems like it would be cutting it close w/o using longer strut mounting bolts. figured I could just ask this here without cluttering up SL with a thread for a simple question.
Thanks!

^^Well from what I heard the engine torque dampeners are fairly useless. There is a dyno video of someones car with the dampener and there is still a lot of movement. A lot people are using different motor mounts and that works a lot better. There is hardly any movement with them.
I gotta polish/paint my valve cover (not the plastic one, the ACTUAL valve cover) So did you take your head off to polish it? Or did you leave it on? Or did you only do the plastic?
Anyway, for NA the torque dampner is fine. And depending on what strut bar you have, ti may still fit. I've seen guys with both on...I've also seen guys with boost bend that bracket...the brace stays, but the bracket brakes.
That was awhile ago, and Ingalls has since said they redesigned and retested their bracket....but I say if your gonna do it, do it the right way.
Motor Mounts.
I got the Speed Source Motor mounts...haven't even put the back in yet but the front took me all of 5 minutes to install. Someone else makes jus the bushing up front, but then you can't go back to stock. It GREATLY reducing engine movement which helps will wheel hop.
before I was boosted, my buddy and I only had axlebacks...then we put a CAI on his and the motor mount on mine. Since I had less wheel hop, I took him off the line, but since he had the CAI, he caught up and passed me.
ONly issue with the motor mount, though, is that at about 1K rpm, especially with the air on, the whole car shakes pretty bad. Also at 5600rpm it shakes. That is why I suggest the Speed Source, so if you don't like it, you can just swap the old one back in!
