Default Power Steering Rack I Think!

For a while now when I turn my wheel back and forth it clicks and makes a crunching sound when going slow.. I have a feeling its the power steering rack.. Anyone else have this similar issue.. I own a 2007 Scion TC with 102k on it.. If so does anyone have DIY for how to change it out.. Thanks

Is it harder to turn the wheel? Thats a better sign its the rack. Have you checked your sway bar links?

If your rack was going out the wheel would be harder to turn. You could also inspect the power steering fluid and connections. You may want to do a power steering flush due to the miles anyways.

Somehow some magical way, it was just a rock that found its way in there and wedged it self under the boot going into the steering rack.. Took the rock out with a long flat head screwdriver and magic.. No more noise... Im still gonna do a flush on it soon along with radiator and brake/clutch.
