So yeah... I've got about a 1.5-2 finger gap in the front, which is what It's supposed to be (nice and even ) but the rears are BARELY a finger... anyone know what possibly went wrong? I installed S-Techs before so I know how to do the install... also put Tokicos in with the Progress...

 

Gas tank is in rear, which can create uneven ride heights on a full tank of gas versus a half or quarter tank.

 

Really? Progress only lowers 1.5-2 finger lengths? The TRD drop is a 2 finger gap, my friend is lowered on Progress springs and I can barely fit a finger.

 

it all depends, some peoples fingers are bigger then others.

 

did u cut the bump stops, if the drop is near 2" then the front bumpstops keep the front end up.

 

I did when I installed the S-techs and cut them... I wonder if Napa put in new ones... but not really because the front actually looks like what I thought the drop would look like, the rear actually looks TOO low... like as low as my S-Techs were.

 

i doubt that is true. that would mean that your struts are bottomed out all the time.

 

My car had that same stance when I had Progress on. You're fine..

I think it's because the front wheel wells are a tad bit larger..?

 

Could you take a nice quick sideview picture of the car? I have been thinking about going with progress springs but it seems difficult to find pictures of them

That's because it is slightly lower in the rear. The fender sits maybe half a centimeter lower than the tire. The front on the other hand, had maybe half an inch - inch gap. But the handling on those springs are great! I've gone to S-Techs since then though.. But I was still very happy with the Progress while I had them.

LOL my bad i was kinda buzzed. meant joe. yeah progress would seem like better handling, it has stiffer rear springs. i wanna go lower too and s-techs r the lowest spring wise. are u satisfied tho? i mean besides wanting to go lower.

 

Sounds like S-Techs would be good for you then. Go with those. The front sits right on the stock tires. The rear could go down a tad bit more, but it still looks pretty good.
