Default progress tech springs

Im thinking about buying progress tech springs for my Tc without upgrading the stock struts. Will this upgrade cause my struts to go out significantly quicker? I think i read that 1"-1.25" is the ideal drop for stock struts...and the progress springs are 1.8" drop. Also is anybody using these? Opinions? Thanks.

no they won't. I have these and absolutely love them. imo they are the best springs out there for the tc.
