Which one do u guys think is better?? and Does the Trd sway bar come with a new end links??

i'm pretty sure this topic has been discussed in a fair amount of detail in previous posts. But just in case you missed it...
The TRD is a bit milder than the progress. You can't really tell that its there unless you put it to the 'race' setting. The race setting seems to give a nice balance between driveability and performance.
The progress bar comes with end links, while the TRD one does not. Unless your planning to do some hardcore driving, the stock ones SHOULD be ok. It is a little more performance oriented than the TRD.
Both are good products in my opinion, and people will argue for both of them. In my opinion, it all comes down to how much you want to sacrifice for performance.

 

Go with trd for a dd. If you are looking for something more aggressive, spend you money on a used set of hotchkis sways. A set of those used is almost the same price as a new progress rear sway and would be 100x better...

 

TRD is 2 way adjustable using stock endlinks. progress is 3 way adjustable and comes with beefier endlinks.

 

Watching. Can someone post where this has been discussed. I want to buy one or the other very soon.

 

Progress makes the TRD Rear Sway. So you're basically paying a little extra for the new end links and an extra setting.

I have been leaning towards Progress as it has the links and an extra setting.........I thought about Hotchkis,but for street driving I figured it would be too much.......

 

i have the progress and i love it, driven a tc with just the trd on the stiffest setting and its pretty much the same as the progress on the lightest setting

 

I'm thinking about going Progress.

i picked mine up locally from showstoppers.

 

i thought the trd was a rebadged hotchkis.

 

nope, it's a progress. hotchkis does their own thing, which toyota likes to sell also.

 

the progress is also solid where as the trd one is not hollow and i think the progress might be thicker im not 100 percent sure on that one

 

The progress is a tad bit thicker but nothing noticible really.

 

i just picked up the progress and am hoping to install it tonight... we'll see. But from what ive heard, and the info posted on the suspension 101 sticky, they are both 22mm thick, but progress is solid and has 3 settings while trd is hollow and only has 2. Once i get it in, ill let you guys know if i feel a difference between the two.

 

any of you guys running the progress rear sway have instructions on how to install the end links? I was working on it tonight, but want to be sure i did it right. box didnt come with instructions. also, if you guys could include a picture of how your links look while connected id much appreciate it.
