Default Quick Question - getting bolt off of front strut?

Sorry for making a new topic, but I figured a new one would get more answers.

(not my picture)

I've looked through all the guides I could find, and none tell how to. We've used a breaker bar, and can twist the bolt both ways, but it won't come off at all! Seems ot be doing nothing.

Any quick advice? thanks!

Remove spring compressor and try to turn this bolt. It worked for me all 4 times i changes my suspension. Keep turning it until you have no threads sticking out. Be careful here dont go too far. You can use vice grips just wrap something around the strut rod so you wont damage it. Good luck.

haha i had this problem today. not that it was tight, but kept turning the upper mount (well the perch right below it) with the nut and strut rod. i vice gripped the plate to the top of the spring and got it off that way.

Yeah we made the mistake of compressing the springs first, and the bolt would not move.
