any suggestions on turning a TC into a street/race ready car?

ideas so far:
coilovers,
sway bar ( do i need frame reinforcement?)
LSD ( too much money at the moment)
short shifter
cable bushing
base bushing
clutch pedal stop
GNDing kit
brake pads and tires (maintenance parts. will wait until needed)
remove that secondary air filter element? (big difference? worth destroying the airbox cover? won't pass smog?)
pedal covers with extended gas pedal
remove some junk in the engine bay to change weight distribution?
battery relocate?
oil catch can? (where's the Crankcase ventilation bypass hose that's connected to the intake manifold?"

 

1. Tires
2. Brakes (upgrade pads, fluid, brake lines)
3. Sway bar(s)
4. Short shifter w/cable and base bushings

That should get you started, everything else you can add as your skill (and bank account) improves... except for the grounding kit, that's useless.

 

1. BOOOOOOST!

 

Boost is useless if your car can't handle.

 

NOS body decals.

 

If your worrying about passing smog, then you shouldnt worry about a race ready tC, lol

 

o yea forgot..... track car!! not dragster!! i m all about NA and reliability of the motor.
