Yes you do need an alignment, the drop might not be a lot but i can tell you that it is needed.

i bought a set of rear camber links when i had my hotchkis springs on. some were lucky enough to dial out the camber without them?

just find a buddy with tools and go from there. plus there are many scionlifers in NY/NJ, just ask.

I did mine on my own and only took a couple hours to do then took it to Toyota for the alignment and that was only $100.

Installing springs/struts isn't nearly as difficult as you may think.

Basically, go to an auto parts store and rent the spring compressor. Google search or look around here for a how-to write up, and go to town.

Note: Do not remove the strut mount unless the spring is compressed. Figured that out the hard way on my first suspension install. Luckily nobody got hurt when the strut shot off like a missile.

You probably want to find a shop that does a lot of work on Scions. I paid like 180 on mines.

You shouldnt need a camber kit with the hotchkis. Thats what I have and they were able to adjust mine to within specs.

thats wat i was told would happen. but wen i took my springs off the struts teh last time i was like eff this, and jus put pressure on them wen i backed them out wit the air powrr.
