Rear Strut Bar anybody?
How come nobody has the rear sway bar for the tC? I am thinking about getting one so I can maybe help lessen those crackle noises from the body flex. Question: I would need to take out the rear seat panels then the trunk panels to install this bar right? ...im saying this because it looks like that in the MMW picture here:
There are a COUPLE people with it that I've seen post. I've heard that they're quite nice and do actually help maybe more than a front strut bar.
As for install... I think that the install would be similar to a rear spring install... at least for what you have to remove.

Im going to order it this week unless someone here thinks its 100% waste of time. Its the only bar that I havent added or upgraded (and i hate that damn darn sound my roof makes which im going back to the dealer for the 6th time this week or next week for).
you better hope rick from raam audio doesnt see this post!
haha
Ill answer for him, he seems to think its usless in our car because we dont have strut towers that flex. they are just about level with the floor, and there is already a fairly stout brace there.
Like jrv said, wait for the 4 pt one to come out. i would think that will help alot more

I have it only because I got it for a ridiculously low price used off a guy
worthless waste of time and money, raamaudio is right, we don't have strut towers in the rear, different design, save your money or spend it on something more worth while like a rear sway bar (hotchkis is stiffest and harshest, trd is less stiff, both adjustable)
There was absolutely no difference in handling once I got it past my head playing games with me, and the 2-5lbs or so it weighs would do you worse off than not. I did cut a lot off the foam in the back so I can still use them with the bar installed.
When ingalls comes out with their 4-point I'll get that and try it out, but I still don't see how it can help, the rear end up top can't get much stiffer than it already is.

ADD nothing to your car you really do not need;)
