Default replaced front braking components and still stops like crap??

so my front pads were shot so instead of just doing pads, i did the slotted rotors, performance pads and ss brake lines(lines i did the back also) . Well the car still seems like trash just like oem. should i have done a bbk? or should i do slotted rotors and performance pads for the back also? any advice is greatly appreciated

Slotted rotors do jack ____ for daily drivers (even autox). You really shouldn't expect any real performance gain there.

What kind of pads did you get? They'll have the most difference.

Did you properly bed the pads and rotors in after install? What procedure did you follow? Did you bleed ALL of your lines after the install (you may want to do it again even if you already did).

Agreed, rotors wont do jack for you.

I bought some SS lines and had them vacuum power bled many times over but I still cant shake that mushy pedal. I know of a few cases on the forums with the same problem. Maybe it could be the firewall flexing under the pressure from the master cylinder.

Modified mag had an article about the tc, they said they had ss lines, new oversized rotors and new pads, and still had a squishy pedal.

I used to have a firm pedal when I had the Axxis Ultimates. Now I bought some crappy things to replace them and I got the mushy pedal. Im thinking there might be some air in the system still from when I replaced the lines. Im thinking maybe in the ABS system since I bled my brakes as I replaced them recently and had air come out.

hmm, it sucks because for some reason i cant remember for the life of me what brand ect. the pads are. To be honest i only got the rotors for looks btw. lol I had all this stuff perfesionally installed at a highly recomended brake shop. They told me the lines were bled. Maybe ill just get some hawk high performance pads(which i think i might have now) and see if that helps. Im pushing 400whp so this is really important for me now.

You guys think doing the rear pads with some hawks will help also or those arent used as hard?
