Default rotor?/Pad? noise

I was driving today and had the windows open and music off and when i come down to a real low speed about to stop, there is this friction sound, kinda like a pulsating hissing sound, it is very low and barely noticeable and can only notice it when its really quite out, and when i let off the brakes and just let the car roll to a stop. i got the front pads and rotrs down but not my back ones, got about 35K miles on it. maybe something is stuck in between the pad and rotors? like a small pebal or salt from the winter?

Could be the wear indicator on your pads rubbing the rotor. Are your pads low? Ever been changed?

sounds like something i had/ still have. it is a problem with the rotors. i have a little honing piece for rotors, gave it a good none directional polish on both sides. the noise went away for a while. people say its the glazing, i don't know what to think. the rubbing grinding is not because the pad is low, i just switched to the hawk HPS pads and they still rub/grind. i can also hear it clearly when im going down a parking garage ramp. the uplsating might mean the rotor is at the beginning stages of warping, i could be wrong.

aftermarket brake pads FTL! n no is not ur rear pads(checked my rear at 50k n theres like 90% left LOL) you may need new pads for the front.. check em n if u need em, just replace it with OEM pads from the dealer(will run u about $60 for the fronts)

I have this issue as well with stock pads. It is only a slight rubbing noise that is dependent on speed and the level of brake being applied. I will have my car on a lift here soon and I will be taking a hard look at it.
