Default rotors..... but larger than stock size

anyone know where i can find some decently priced slotted rotors that will fit stock calipers that are of larger diameter than stock?

i looked at powerslot's plus kit, but alas, the rotors are like $150 apiece...

and yes, i know i need brackets to relocate the caliper out more. CNC machine FTW

neo, im assuming your doing bigger rotors for looks? since the size of the rotor wont make a difference unless you have a larger caliper (pad) to grab onto that larger rotor.

none the less... if you just want a larger rotor, and your gonna make custom brackets, you should be able to get a rotor from any brake company that produces them for the tC. Rotora's rotor on their smaller BBK (the one i have) isnt much larger then the stock front rotor, but you would need to make a custom bracket to fit it (pic below)

Oh... and when i brake with my kit, i get a really kool popping sound... kinda like a rattle snake so to say (because of the drilled/slotted/vented rotors). i love it! haha

** sorry for the crappy pics, im taking better ones sunday **

yeah its a 100% show mod. I just want the rotors to fill out the area behind these very open 5 spokes.

I figure with large slotted rotors, stainless steel braided brake lines, and powdercoated calipers, it should look pretty cool

your not gonna be able to see the line really. if you look close on the pic with just the brakes, you can see the dark blue line (my SS brake line), but with the pic with the wheel on, you cant see it at all. that is unless u are gonig to take ur wheel off for shows. but a SS brake lines will help out alot besides just in looks.

but dude... with all the money ur gonna spend on rotors, lines, custom mounts, and powder coating your existing calipers... why dont you just get a bbk?

well, i just figured that i can get all 4 corners done for cheaper than just a BBK for the front.

calipers = $25/pair via my buddy with a powdercoating setup in his garage
custom relocation brackets = $25/apiece via my buddy with a CNC machine in his garage
Stoptech SS lines- $150 @ dezod for front + rear
Rotors- $200-$250/pair

adding that all up brings me to $800 bucks or so, which is still less than a BBK by a few hundred bucks.

and yeah, i'll be taking a wheel off @ shows. I got one of the nolimitzinc wheel stands sitting here @ the apartment.

yeah i have the same stand neo.

me personally... id save up the few extra bills to go all out and get a BBK. but what your gonna do sounds like it would look good, i just peronally prefer the look of a big **** caliper. haha
