Default Springs installed today. Now I have a knocking sound!

So I got Eibach springs installed today at a local tuner shop and now I notice a knocking sound coming from my rear driver side wheel when I make a left turn. What could it be?

Possibly the spring isn't set into it's lower perch correctly. You could jack up the rear and do a visual. If you're not sure what to look for just compare the driver's side spring to the other side (assuming the pass. side is correct.)

Otherwise it could be something not tightened. Your work should be warrantied, take it back and have them check their work, including that all the nuts and bolts are torqued to specs.

I figured it out! I woke up early Sunday morning to examine the problem and after checking to see it the nuts were tight at the top of the tower I decided to take of the rim and have a look since the shop would not be open until Monday. Well low and behold the damn lugs were not tight on the wheel! That makes me realize how careless some of these a$$holes are that work on your care. I should have just done the work myself and saved the $140.00. Well you live and you learn.

Very sloppy - and dangerous - for that shop to forget to tighten lug nuts. Well now they have you to warn others away from giving them business.

Btw, don't just make them "tight", lug nuts should be tightened to 76 ft-lbs with a torque wrench.
