well i did look at their websites for general information, but i wanted to get opinions of people on here that are already running either of these setups on their cars and i figured this is where i would find the most helpful and insightful information....

yeah im sure that most people here are either running say teins, racelands, or rokkers, etc.. just trying to get some info from people who have either of these sets, so can the 2 or 3 people who have these give me some feedback... if not i guess i could wait for some future reviews...

Im one of the couple that had B&G's but theres not much to review. Only other thing ive rode on in a tC was stock and s-techs. Obviously bumpy, theyre coilovers. Nothing unmanageable unless your a sissy. Also couldnt tell you what settings i had anything on because everything was seized. All i can tell you is they were slammed, no threads left with rings removed.

What do you want coilovers for anyways? Because that may sway your decision.

well i basically i'm mainly going to be using the coilovers for daily driving, and appearance, no autox or anything of that nature and I look at it like this if i'm going to spend money on a coilover setup i want something that will last, made of good quality, and will lower my car pretty aggressive, but will still somewhat maintain a comfortable ride, i've seen your car and how low you are but mad props to you for being sooo slammed but i don't necessarily need to be that low to the ground but it does look sick, but i do want to go kinda low, but i'm not to familiar with removing perches and that type of stuff yet, or which spring rates are better out of these 2 sets for dd, but from what i heard if you remove the perches, the ride would be more harsh if really low with the perches out, i would like to have the peace of mind that if i wanted to slam my car lower later i could have that option as i know some coilovers may not give me the drop i'm hoping for then i'd be disappointed, and i really like having a coilover that i can adjust the dampening settings which i know that you can on the b&g's and the stance, seems like either one would serve my needs well, so with that being said which do you think?

Honestly, id go with Stance. If they were available for the tC while i was still modding i would have bought them. Stance has the best customer service, not to mention the GR+'s come with the adjustable upper camber mount and the RS2's dont.

yeah i was wondering about that since the stance coilovers come with the adjustable upper camber mounts does that mean i can eliminate the need for buying front camber bolts for camber adjustments? or does that relate to something entirely different? sorry for having so many noob questions about coilovers but honestly its been so long since i modded a car that my last setup was just the sleeve type coils and aftermarket struts, so please excuse my noobness, lol and also i think that i read that the stance coils can come in custom spring rates would i necessarily need custom spring rates or just stick with the normal spring rates of 7/6 for dd, out of the b&g's and stance which one has better spring rates or does it really matter? thx..

Stance now run with 7K front and 9K rear(thank Meng for that, it's a better setup). B&G is 6K front and 8K rear. Both coilovers can be had with higher spring rates. You can even get springs from Eibach(or any other spring company) as long as the spring height and inner diameter is the same. Just go with Stance, you have Meng on the forum that can help on out with customer support and can order through him.

or swift springs, their springs tend to be a lot more linear/predictable. just have the manufacturer of the coils re-valve the shocks if you change your spring rates by more than 2kg

I have B&G's...had them for 3 years now and about 40k miles. no problems at all, nothing is seized on (no snow where i live) and the dampening works good. soft is almost stock feeling until you hit the corners which you will notice a lot less body roll, while stiffest setting is not too harsh compared to other coilovers at the stiffest setting.

i have mine slammed, no threads left, but all locking rings still on. i have had them at this setting for about 30k miles, no problems. i love them.

also, ive seen meng's Stance coilovers in person...at the stiffest setting they are quite bouncy, but still id say Stance are just as good, if not better, quality wise. B&G have a long wait list for some reason...who knows how long its gonna take to ship, but Stance probably wont take as long.

ok, cool thanks for your input it helps out alot in my decision, yeah i've heard many people with complaints about the wait time, but overall good reviews about them, so sounds like they are worth the wait, i've found a few places online that claim they have them available, i wonder if its better to get them directly from b&g?

ok cool thanks, are there any reliable places online to order a set of the B&G's from or is it better to order directly from the B&G website? whats the average wait time? i know dropzone said he's been waiting like months now for his set to arrive i think?

^Do you have to keep reminding me? Going on 7 months wait time. You can try calling them to see if a group buy would speed anything up, and if there's any guarantee that'll work. I called several online vendors for pricing and were generally about the same price all around. I went to the B&G website to find authorized vendors and found one in state that gave me a really good offer, being in state you'll be charged tax, and I still fared better than ordering off the other sites I called.

lol, my bad dropzone, yeah i hope you get your coils soon i feel your pain man yeah i actually called this one company located in oregon which is like 2 hrs away from me to ask them if they can get them and whats the average wait time, he told me like only 1 month but i'm not so sure if that's realistic or not, i think he's just exaggerating, but he told me that there's like 10 sets coming in that have already been sold to buyers who are just waiting, but i think i may just order from them because he said he'll match any price i find them listed for on any other site other than ebay, the lowest price i could find them for so far is $1,165 shipped, and they are in Oregon where there's no sales tax so hopefully i'll be making a trip down there sometime soon...

get the stance since they have camber plates where b&g don't but you can also just buy camber bolts. i would just go stance since seems like b&g is unpredictable when it comes to est. wait time
