Anyone new tC owner has this kinda problem? When driving straight, the wheel won't stay stright but pull slightly to the right. Should I just take it back to dealership and ask them to check the alignment?

 

yes. not sure if they will do anything for you, but it is worth a shot. something as simple as hitting a pot hole can cause your cars alingment to be off.

 

check your tire pressure first.

drive on a couple different road to make sure the road itself is even.

 

My pressure is alright, but I will defintely drive on different roads later to double check this.

 

and do this soon... not correcting the alignment will chew up your tires FAST.

 

My new tC does this also. I have 3K miles on it now. I'm going to have the alignment redone under warranty when I bring it in for the first oil change.

When you first get your tC, it should slightly pull to the right. That's because if you fall asleep at the wheel, you don't drift into oncoming traffic. The pull should be ever so slight. If it pulls harder then that, have your alignment checked. Also if you lowered your car, that can cause a slight pull.

 

This is the first time I have ever heard about this. Btw, I just double check again the tire pressure, they are all about 42psi on Bridgestone 17" tires. I think the pressure are too high since manual said it should keep at 32psi front and 29psi rear.

 

Def too high.

 

ive had 2 alignments done under warrnaty with this. the first time they fixed it but i came right back within 2 months. its a little better now but it's only been a couple of weeks since my last alignment. they told me that the aligment was definitely off and thy just put it back to spec for me.

 

strange I actually have that too. Not sure if it's an alignment issue though.

 

There's a toyota service bulletin on this. It may be alignment, it may be steering column.

so how's your tire tread? Are they still in good shape? I used to have a 99 accord with slight pull to right either, but luckily it didn't do anything on my tire's tread.

 

I have had mine for about 900 miles, and yeah, the steering wheel does tilt a bit to the right when going straight. Tire pressure checked, alignment done, but the same thing exist. Keep me posted if theres a fix for it.

 

tires are fine. i have almost 20k on them and they look very good still, plenty of tread left.

 

Mine goes slightly to the right also. barely noticable but it does happen.
