Default suspension

im looking to lower my tc about 2 inches back and front. i was wondering if it maters if i just get new spings or do i need to get struts as well. i would also like to no what are the best springs to go with considering im on a budget, i would like quality and a good price. thanks-bmsciontc

As for which springs... search a little bit. Read through this suspension forum. Read that second sticky I linked. Then start researching prices.

I would still suggest Progress Springs w/ Tokico Struts!

hey man, i have progress springs and i was gonna buy new struts/shocks soon. i was just gonna go with TRDs but ive heard a few people say go with Tokico! ive asked why but nobody has answered me. do they work better with them or what?

I have the Tokicos with my H&R Sport springs and I see no reason to pay another $100+ for TRD struts when the Tokicos work just fine. You should be able to find them on eBay for around $350 shipped.

Good thing about Tokicos is that you can buy just one replacement if need be (Tokicos come with a solid warranty), otherwise TRD requires purchasing the whole set.
