Suspension???
Sounds good. Question though, how did you spell it right on the title and not in the body.. lol. Honestly though, if you're spending the money on struts and springs, why not go with coilovers, it won't be that much more.
coilovers are much more expensive. if you won't utilize the benefits that they offer, its not worth it. I'm a fan of the trd setup. I have the trd spring (not shocks, i didn't think the cost to value ratio was worth it, so i'm on stock shocks).
If you do go with the hotchkis springs, then you may need to invest in trd struts as that is more of a drop than the stock shocks are supposed to handle. They will work, but die too prematurely that its worth compressing the springs just once rather than twice to put the springs on new shocks when they blow.

I can't tell a difference between trd springs with trd shock and trd springs without trd shocks. They will hold up longer than using the stock shocks b/c any lowering spring (big or small drop) will put extra strain on the shocks. So if the difference is so little that its barely even noticable, i'm not gonna waste all of that money (shocks are expensive). When the stock ones blow, i'll consider getting the trds then. I've read that the trd shocks are a little shorter and have more nitrogen in them - those are the only differences. Hope that helps
