Default SWAY BARS: TRD or Progress

I am about to get some sways, I was just wondering what you all who already have them think between TRD or Progress. Also if you know any good sites to get a good deal on the bar. From my local dealership I can pick up a TRD sway for 150, and online the best ive found for Progress is about 200 shipped. Anyways which do you think is better and why. Thanx

The Progress does come with new endlinks to account for the adjustability of the bar. That's where your extra $$ is going.

TRD is good but i've heard progress is better because of the endlinks but if you get the TRD then you can always buy the dezod endlinks as well.

You won't need the Hotchkis set unless you plan on tracking your car. It's just overkill for a daily driver. I'd go with Progress, but they're almost the same.

I love when people say this! lol!! And it's always the people who DON'T have the Hotchkis sways who will say it's "overkill"....

If you can afford Hotchkis, get them! If not, get the Progress.

^well if you daily drive and don't track/autoX the car then it's not worth putting the hotchkis on the on the stiffest setting, leaving the front on the outter slot and the rear on the 2nd is fine.

^^^ It's just personal preference... In all honesty, unless you track your car, sway bars period are an overkill... See what I'm saying?

Is it overkill to have a 300 bhp STI unless you rally??? HELL NO!

You're right. I don't have the Hotchkis sways. Or any, for that matter. But if I'm only occasionally taking hard turns, then why would I spend more for more than I need?

I could possibly use the money I saved from that on another mod, easily.

Understood... My theory is, we really don't "need" any performance parts for our cars unless they're being tracked. All the stuff we add is because we "want" to. But, if you "want" to make the tC handle to the best of it's abilities, then the Hothckis sways are a great choice!

mess around with it until you like the setting it's at, but when you adjust one make sure that the other side is the same and not uneven.
