The Tanabe's dont come with upper pillowmount or camber plates. Nor do they have adjustable dampening. They cant be rebuilt either.
The S-OC is comparable to the Tein Basic Coilover. The Tein SS and SS-P have more functions/options, but also more expensive (comparing msrp).

tanabes. lower spring rate. which means it less performance. and more comfort. than the teins. i dont know first hand yet. i just ordered them today in fact. tanabe s-ocs. should be here within the week/early next week. so we will see how they perform. ill make a little write up on them when all is said and done. because no one has them thus far, well they might. but no one posts about them. SO. i will. i know more than a couple people on here are anxious, since i started a thread about this a month back...

i had tein ss on my corolla and the daily ride was way to hard but it was really nice to bang the corners . and when i say to hard i mean my $450 alpine skipped even on section gaps on the highway or pretty much any bump at all. i'm getting the progress coilovers whenever they aren't on backorder.

yea go with Tanabe if you want ride comfort because I have the Tein Basics and they hurt a lot but pretty nice taking the corners.

I think I've seen this question asked once a week now haha...

I still reccommend Tanabe. I sell both but Tanabe is a more driveable coilover while still giving you a better handling.
