Default Tein Basic Coilovers

Alright, i've finally decided to get some coilovers. I'm about 70% sure that i want tein basic coilovers because money issues with the ss+p. I'm more into the look than performance so i think the basics would be a great choice. I know they're soft and i heard it provides somewhat of a smooth ride.

I just need some opinions! let me know the cons of the tein basic coilovers if you've heard anything!

thanks

this is the complete opposite of what i heard.
some people have actually traded it for others because these are too stiff

ok listen, tein basics are NOT a smooth ride, and you cant adjust the dampening, meaning you are stuck w/ the stiffness they offer. They are a great performance part. i repeat, PERFORMANCE part. And ya, they look amazing but are extremely unnessecary if all you want is looks. Tein S-Techs on the other hand have your name written all over them, cost 1/8th of the price of the coilovers, plus they leave you w/ out the headache of adjusting height, let alone properly maintaining your coilovers if you want them to last. Keep in mind however that the S-Techs will deff stiffen up your ride as well, but common your not drivin a lexus man, feel the road and enjoy it! Good Luck!!
