Im thinking about getting tein basic coilovers instead of tein-h techs. My friend is selling them to me for $600.

I need your advices!! good deal?

How do tein basics feel? Smooth?

does your friend still have the basics on his car? if he does, then ask him the questions..


i used to have basics but it was too harsh for me so i switched back to my s-techs.. im gonna get me some b&g coilovers.

 

the basics are a little on the stiff side. i like the basics, but i like a stiff ride, function>comfort. its not gonna jar the fillings out of your teeth, though. i'll see if i can find a pic

 

$600 is a good price as long as they don't have a ton of miles on them. The Basic Coilovers retail for around $730 or so.

The ride is just a bit on the stiff side but still comfortable. I recently took a road trip that was 520 miles round trip and felt fine after driving for about 3.5 hours.

you will not like them john, they are too harsh.

 

On a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being stiff, 1 being soft) I would rate them at 6.5. The stiffness doesn't bother me.

he's selling me brand new tein basic coilovers to me for 600 dollars. He knows a dealer or some crap. He doesnt have a tc but a honda accord coupe 05. i asked him for his opinion and how dhe likes the springs. He said it isnt too harsh
