Default tein drop....

i currently have the TRD drop on my tc and i want more....ive decided to drop it lower instead of gettin a full body kit i ordered tein s-techs and just got them in yesterday...my question is to all who have the tein s-techs drop....are you havin ne problems with the stock shocks or cambers or rubbing with 18' rims because i just wanna know if i should get some after market shocks or camber set before i put the teins on....thanks in advance

from what i have heard, you should be fine... however you are going to want to replace your struts in the near future with some trd stuts or koni or whatever you like, because your stocks will blow. about camber, i heard that the tC can heandle it so you will be fine.

If you are replacing the springs it makes a lot of sense to do the shocks at the same time...only adds about 20-30 minutes to the whole procedure and it means you wont have to worry about it anymore...it would suck to have to tear everyhting apart in a few months again to replace the shocks.

more along the lines of a couple of months... when you have the trd shocks without the stuts, i have known a couple of cases in which they blow within a year, and since the tein drop is almost twice that, i can assume that they would last only six?

how you drive and road conditions may also affect the life of your stock shocks on aftermarket springs
