Default Tein S-Tech + Axis Supermesh 18x8.5? will it rub?

i'm planning on getting Axis Supermesh which are 18x8.5 with 42 offset. will that work with Tein S-Techs? is it too low? will it rub?

i plan on using 225/40/18 tires.

Yeah it should be fine, just don't go over speed bumps too fast.

with that wheel width and offset your rim is gunna be about 5/8" closer to the springs. you may wanna measure and be sure you have that kind of clearance.

so a 2.4" drop in front is too much? what other spring out there offers a 2" then. i think the H-Tech and the TRD springs aren't aggressive enough from the pictures i have seen.

dont go with such a wide wheel/tire and you wont have that problem.

No. A 18x8.5 will not rub the calipers or suspension parts. This setup has been done by a member on yoursciontc.com. Most people on here assume it will rub based on what they've been told by other members who are guessing. It's a lot of passing on false information from word of mouth.

This guy on www.yoursciontc.com has done this setup and does not rub at all.
