Default Tein S-techs or Basis Coilovers

This is going to be my first suspension job done to my car. I'm looking at either getting Tein S-techs with KYB GR-2 shocks and struts or save up a bit more and get the Tein Basis coilovers. I have a few questions I'm running 17x7.5 + 40 rims with 215/45/17 tires. I know I shouldn't have any rubbing issues with the s-techs but as for as the coil overs how low could I get before I have to worry about rubbing issues? Also I know at +40 I will be tucked should I do spacers maybe 5-10mm in front and 10-15mm in rear to get a more flush look. I'm new to this whole stance thing and could use some advice. I want to go low but not slammed low, I live in New Orleans and they're more pot holes then rode down here, so I don't want to bottom out or scrape every couple minutes

I think you're better off with coilovers since you can adjust how low you want to be. If Teins are too much, get Racelands. I would save up for BCs or FFs. The most common complaint of Teins is that don't go very low. My SSPs can barely tuck tire if I crank them all the way down.

In regards to stance, you should post of pic of the look you're going for. Even if its not a tC.
