Default Tein Superstreets!?

hey guys I was wondering if a set of tein superstreets are really worth the price, or would s-tech springs and a set of shocks do the job for me. I want a comfy ride and i don't do any racing. I have searched the forum for an answer but both choices have been givin equal amount of pros and cons.

The springs and shocks would be fine. The bonus with the coilovers is the adjustability. You can raise or lower the car from the same unit. And you can even get an electronic unit to do it from the interior. Kind of cool.

But if you're looking for simple - springs and shocks.

wat about tein basics? im thinking bout those even though they're a little more than springs+shocks, its adjustable and easier to install.

The EDFC is designed to adjust the Damping force from within the vehicle. Not the height of it. If you want superior performance, and your TC might see an autox or two, then go with the SS. But if just street use, then springs and struts will do you just fine.

Yes yes. Me too interested in the tein basics. I'm not willing to spend over 1G on suspension so tell us if the basics are a good buy.

the basics should be good enough. If you rode in a TC with basics and TC with SS could you honestly tell the difference? If not get something thats affordable. The basics..

Uhh you cant raise or control from inside the car... the edfc just controls the dampening not the height!

Honestly you look at it like this... Good adjustable shocks with say some springs cost you about 750... on avg. Then you can get tein basics for that price... then you can get the ss or my fav. the ss-p... (Direct bolt in) for like 2-300 more...

if your car is not hitting the tracks, the Basics should be fine. Both the spring and the strut are designed to work together.

If you got the money get the ss-p not the ss... I mean if your gonna go ss then just spend the extra 150 for the pillowball mounts and get the ss-p
