no cutting, it all installed clean. the only issue is you pretty much have to pull out all the panels in the hatch area to install the motors on the rear struts. there isnt a nice little trap door over the struts like hondas have. you need to order the coilovers with the pillowball mounts or the edfc wont fit.

The SS coilovers come with adjustable (compression and rebound) struts. you normally would have to use a wrench and adjust them at the top of the strut in the enginebay or the hatch area. the EDFC unit allows you to control the valving of the struts from your seat. its a little 1/4 din sized box that you mount in your car that controls 4 servo motors which are mounted on the top of your struts. so basically i can adjust for my driving style and road conditions on the fly from the drivers seat rather than having to stop the car and break out an allen wrench.

TEIN SS...rock . I can tell you that any TC owner that buys these will be as happy as most B15 Sentra owners that have them . EDFC is affordable as well , maybe $300 or cheaper if you look around . I've hinted at www.hpautoworks.com & www.powertechimports.com to tell both Jamie ( PTI ) & Andy ( HP ) that Scion TC owners are looking for good aftermarket comapines to buy parts through , for their TC's .

Andy ( HPAutoworks.com ) is selling the TEIN SS coilover for $1,065 . http://www.hpautoworks.com/tesscodaki.html Sometimes he has free shipping , or if you e-mail him , will give you a better deal than the listed price .

I wonder how many different setups there are for the TC ? A friend and I were discussing this a week ago . I've seen the TEIN , but I wonder if JIC FLTA2's , Ground Control / Koni Yellow are available ?
