Default tires cupping need help

I am having a problem on trying to figure out what the problem could be with my tires cupping, recently I noticed a loud noise and put alot of money into the car to later find out it was the tires, long story short I dont know if I should get new struts, or get a camber kit so it wont do it in the future with the new tires I am about to purchase. I have tein S techs on an 07 tc with stock struts and 18" ADR ZR1 wheels.

Thanks

If they're cupping that will typically point to under-inflation... at least that's my first thought. Do you know what your pressures are at?

I had the same issue with the tire cupping on my Continentals. They were the conticontact xtremes.

I ended up replacing all tires with new Yokohama and haven't heard a sound since.

Mine issue was due to the fact I didn't get them rotated as often as I should have. Discount tire tried to over inflate the noisy tire in hopes that it would wear the "cup" out, but no luck. Instead of trouble-shooting and trying to fix the problematic tire I just replaced all.

Good Luck!

Another guess is just cheap ___ tires... they sound like some crappy Chinese brand (maybe not). Definitely never heard of them.

cupping is usually a suspension problem...tire pressure has nuthin to do with that....niether does rotations. Yes, both of those will cause wearing on your tires if not maintained, but not cause cupping.

You said your on stock struts with stechs? How many miles?....you prolly need new struts, springs rarely go bad.
Remember you have aftermarket springs on stock struts, those springs are putting alot of pressure on those struts.

LMK about the mileage

i have about 50k on the car but running it with stechs for about 30k +

-thanks wrath

Tires are actually way better than stock though, no tire noise and almost no slip still have about 70% tread after 1 year

wheel and tire package was $500 I was a happy camper

^^Then im pretty sure its ur struts bro...Try goin to a shopping center where there is alot of speed bumps. Go over them nicely (not super slow), but not to fast cause youll prolly scrub. But when the car bounces listen if you hear like a bottoming out sound....(thats what i do when i have to road test a car).

My money is on the struts
