i just had a set of the tokico hp shocks installed with the trd springs this afternoon. so far so good-the ride is a little bit bumpier, but not bad. i didn't really have a chance to push the car too much, because i had my gf following me home from picking up the car and there was some traffic(i didn't really get over 50mph for more than a few seconds). so far i like the ride alot, and i have no complaints. i'm gonna push the car a little bit more tomoro and see how i feel. i have the red trd springs over the blue tokico shocks. i'm getting my 18" wheels put on tuesday with a set of michelin pilot sport ps2's in 225 40 18, so that should help with the handling as well. once i have a chance to push the car a little, i'll post a better review.

ok, so i've driven on these things for a few days now and i can honestly say that i'm very happy with them. the ride isn't too bouncy or harsh and the car handles much better since i put the pilots on as well. my hotchkis bars are set on the middle setting in the rear and the softer setting in the front. i also have the monster strut bar and the tanabe strut bar. i had the trd shocks in my last tc, so as far as that goes, i think the ride is pretty similar. i'm def happy with the shocks and springs i got, and for anyone looking to get shocks, this is def a good way to go-price and performance. it was about $100 cheaper then the trd shocks after shipping. i've heard that the tokico's aren't meant for more than a 1.5" drop, so figure that into the equation when u're looking for springs. the trd springs are supposed to be a 1-1.25" drop, but some of them seem like they're def more than 1.25" lower. i was going to get coils, but realistically, i don't track or autox the car, so i'm not really in need of the diff adjusting options. i mean if i had a few hundred extra dollars i would've gotten coils, but i also bought new rims, tires, an alarm, a hid kit, headlights like a month ago, got some stuff installed, powdercoated, and so on.
