dude, just do it yourself. all you need is spring compressor, impact gun, and whatever you need to take some bolts off. it will take you a few hours but you will save alot of money and knowing that you did the work yourself would make you feel better about youself.

This is for an XB, but maybe you can get something out of it.

Spring install on a tC is A LOT more involved than on an xA / xB. Nonetheless, it is not difficult (assuming you've used tools before). It took us about 4 hours on to do my car with no instructions and no power tools. Then it took maybe an hour to put goldlines on an xA. If you really need instructions on how to do it, I'm sure there's a write up somewhere on the web.

BTW, I got my springs on sale from http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com for $118.00

A few pics of installation: http://www.deepsouthscions.com/galle...s.php?album=28

Yeah, I have TRD's on my tC. The Goldlines I mentioned were on my friend's xA.

I'd be happy to write up instructions for installation if you need them.

Well, my springs are supposed to arrive this wednesday, however i don't have the proper tools. I think it will cost me more money to get the necessary tools than it would just to take it a body shop.

I know this guy who is a mechanic and will probably have the necessary tools, if i can get him some directions i think it would be best so that he doesn't screw anythign up. I don't think he's ever done springs before.

If you can write up instructions, it would be nice. Hasn't anyone else written instructions yet?

i'm actually in the middle of a write up on the HOWTO.

've got the instructions written up on how to install them....but I need pix to go with them. My problem is the pix i took did not come out that well, so I'm trying to figure out what to do about that.

I'll try and post the howto tonite or tomorrow, either sans pix, or with pix that are somewhat in adeqaute. You should be able to follow through pretty well. though. Perhaps you can take some better pix, and I can use them to revise the writeup???

I'm going to have a mechanic do my installation, so i don't know if i'm going to be able to take some pictures. If i'm not working, i will be at the shop while he installs them and i'll try to take some pics. Meanwhile, even a HOW TO w/ o pics is better than nothing.

I did a pretty thorough search and could'nt find a pre-existing write up.
