Default TRD pads or Hawk pads???

Well i'm thinking about ordering an upgraded set of pads here, but i'm wondering are the TRD just as good as the Hawk pads or should I stick with Hawk for the braking needs?

Do you do any sort of racing? If its just a DD, stick with stock. If you want to upgrade, TRD, Hawk, Centric, EBC, or Stoptech are all great choices. I Have the EBC redstuff, and they are working great!

Yeah I race down the freeway in my wifes tc and that's about it. I always love the idea of an upgraded pad compared to oem in every car i've ever gotten. I just want to know what others feel between the two brands.

I have the ebc redstuff all the way around on my car and they work great and were probably the best value imo. only problem is they dust quite a bit more than the stock pads that were on it before.

red stuff is the top of the line from that brand is it not? How's fade on those? Pedal get mushy often or no?

I run Hawk HPS pads, I like them a lot but they do dust more than stock. Can't compare them to the TRD pads though.
