So how much did the trd springs and shocks cost together not including install?? And then how much was the the installation for your suspension? And ur wheels are 225/40/18 right?

PERFECT. I had my supercharger, springs, shocks, and sway and strut bars installed yesterday and today. I'm actually picking it up today and was going to do the same thing pic wise.

The TRD drop is the perfect drop. Hopefully this settles the argument that TRD springs don't lower enough....

 

the trd is for people who like a nice subtle drop. some ppl like theres lower some dont. i like mine perfect

umm not sure on the wheel size is..they are the stock RS1 enkeis with the pirelli tires. sorry im not that knowledgeable when it comes to tire size :-/

i have the trd springs and like them a lot. its not too low and the ride is still good. i have 19's and i have no problems with rubbing, except when i go over train tracks at like 45 =)

^^yeah, now that I rode in a tC with the TRD springs, I have decided that they are definitely what I will be getting when I decide to lower my tC. Gotta get through my performance enhancements first...then suspension.

 

I am hoping to lower my RS1 on the TRD springs this weekend. I have been planning it for a long time and am finally sick of having so much wheel gap. How difficult was the install? Any tips that would make the install go easier?

 

if you have experience with it, it should be ok. but if you have no experience, you might wanna get help from someone that has done it already.

 

lowering it not too difficult. Just need to take your time. Make sure you have an entire day allotted if you have never done it before. And remember, you don't have to take the entire car apart just to remove the strut assemblies.

 

make sure the springs line up correctly with the shocks and struts.

how do you guys think the TRD springs look with stock 17's instead of the 18;s

 

i've seen them in person on stock 17's and i thought they looked pretty good. they looked lower on 17's then on 18's.

 

cuase im not getten new rimgs till next spring when i gotta get new tires. On 18's like your car the drop looks really good, but im worried its not gonna look good on stock
