Default TRD spring install w/ before and after pics

Sorry, I wish the after pic could have came out better...it's at an angle and not as good quality as the before, and you really can't get good a feel for the drop.

This is only an hour after install, so it should 'settle' a bit more, but I'm happy with it, I like that it's not too low. Handling is as expected, slightly more bumpy, no biggie.

After my thousands of questions and threads about how to DIY, I ended up taking it somewhere to have them installed (yeah, I ended up _____ing out), but got it done for a good price, $150.

I appreciate all the advice from everyone and the offers from my fellow Orlando Scion drivers to help. Seriously, Thanks!

I'm a noob (obviously), so my next project is the sway bar, which I WILL do myself.

Bought TRD springs from TRDSparks.com for $155!
Had them installed at Corzo Performance Tires in Orlando (Oak Ridge Road) for $150

Definitely, I'll wait like a week and try to get a better pic. That after pic was taken while rain was pouring on me.

Thanks!

That's excellent!

I've also decided to wait to get the alignment done the next time I get paid, which in is 2 weeks.

Cant see the pic. But I can tell you that they settle nicely! Here is what mine looked like about a week or two after getting them:

so you can look forward to them settling down!

Yeah, I noticed the same thing about the pics today.
I re-upped the pics to a different host, hopefully everything works now.

Man, that blue is my favorite TC color behind my red (naturally). Nice.

nice! they gonna look even better once they settle. man i've had my trd shocks and springs sitting in my closet for bout 3-4 months now and its killing me to get them installed. i'd prefer a professional to install them cuz i dont wanna mess with anythin that serious. im waiting on my bro's friend to come back here on one of his visits and he'll do it for $70 i think. other places were $150 and i really dont wanna spend that much on an install. either way lookin good!

$150 for shocks and springs install! actually thats not that bad? I was quoted $150 for my springs to be installed and a local car shop! My local dealer quoted me $500 for springs installed! I laughed so hard on the phone when they told me that, they were really serious! For $500 ill do it on my own with no experience! anyways im focusing on the wrong part of the story here, Those TRD springs look nice! $150 for shocks and springs are a good price! IMO?

Yeah, the going price around here for all the places I called just for springs was around $150. And ditto for the dealers around here, they wanted to charge 5 hours of labor. Hell no.
