Default TRD springs + struts OR Coilovers

Yo, which setup would you go with if you had the choice? I know coilover setup will cost a bit more but will there be major improvement in performance for going coilover instead of trd sprinds and strut combo?

I agree, you should go for coilovers.

Minimum drop on Tein Basics are:
1.6" front 1.4" rear
Max is:
2.8" front 2.6" rear

go for the coilovers.

I have the TRD Springs, but I'm saving up for Coilovers for when my shocks blow. If you can afford them, get the coilovers, but get the set with the adjustable shock stiffness, not the basics, if you can.

I have trd shock and springs. They are pretty nice and the ride isnt harsh. The only thing is its not very agressive. If you have the money get the coilovers. I will be getting coilovers down the line.

OK, im a NEWBEE on coilovers. How hard is it to adjust the ride yourself, I might be getting the TRD lowering springs cause i dont want too much of a drop but i think the whole set will help my out in the long run?

TRD doesnt make coilovers though. The drop isn't that all aggressive, but at least you won't scrape. I say wait for more companies to jump in on the tC market and get the one that best suits you.

It really all depends on what you want. TRD will help you to reduce the wheel gap and with handling. If the TRD's aren't enough for you then you should also look into hotchkis. They have a slightly lower drop and still ride good . Coilovers will help you do the samething and are full adjustable but if you're a newbie at the suspension game do a little more research before making a decision. Hope this helps!!

most likely eibach.. the drop isnt that much and eibach usually does drops that are that much.. lol.. i used to have them, they were nice but not enough of a drop for me... then i went to tein stechs.. the drop was good but i wanted lower.. so i went to tein ss-p and man its perfect now, rides real nice, not really bumpy and i have the settings on 16 which is the stiffest
