has anyone had any problems with theses?

because mine went out and ive only had them for two years.

the tech says it all checks out on the outside but he thinks its an internal problem. he is calling TRD tomorrow.

i am just curious if other people have had this problem or if i am a (un)lucky individual.

 

HAd then for one year so far, no problems.

What springs are you running?

 

TRD springs. and TRD shocks in the rear.

 

might just be a rare problem. SHould be covered by warranty because of having trd springs and not something aftermarket.

 

there is always a defective batch among the many. mine are two years old now and autocrossed over 15 times, hard. you never know i guess

 

i wouldnt tell them about the autocrossing ;)

do you think TRD's warrenty would cover it even though its past 12 months/12,000 mi? being that it just went out.

and i don't autocross either...

 

I dont know much about trds warranty. I thought anything on the car from trd would fall under the scion warranty as well. Not sure tho.

 

i was basing the warrenty info off of TRD's website...

either way im just crossing my fingers.

Who installed them, If the dealer did they should be covered under your cars warrenty

 

yeah it was dealer installed.

 

you should be fine since your dealer install it..they should cover it for you.

 

nope. TRD said it was out of warrenty. but the dealership was nice enough to hook me up with some stock struts.

 

stock ones are okay, did you still keep the trd struts?

 

How many miles are on them or your car?

 

i had around 37k on them. yeah i still have the struts.

 

Kind of a stupid question, but now do you know when your shocks go out?
