hey im interested in getting the TRD struts to put my hotchkis springs on. i want a lil better handling but dont want the ride of coil overs. who has the TRD struts and how do u like them and how do they differ from factory struts.

 

Bust out with a Rear Sway along with the Struts and you'll notice quite a bit of difference in the ride over OEM suspension.

 

i have TRD struts/shocks with progress springs and the ride feels overall more stable and not so bouncy, but there is still alot of play. ^ like said above a rear sway will make a big difference.

 

i have the TRD rear sway. love it made a decent bit of difference. i just want less bounce in my suspension. so TRD struts with hotchkis springs with the TRD rear sway should be perfect?

ok well better handling but no coilovers.

 

TRD shocks will make your ride better than stock shocks and last longer, or you can also get TEIN basic coilovers for a little bit more.

 

better then shock shocks? and he said he doesnt want coilovers..........

 

i meant stock shocks, good looking out LOL.

 

yea i hear the tein basics ride are actually decent for coilovers. but i can get the TRD struts for like $450 bucks. the tein basics are more than double that. i already have my springs and my rear sway bar.

 

Go with the struts. You can't go wrong w/ getting them.
