Damn the prices for Tokicos have gone up! I got my set on eBay (all 4) for like $340 or so last year.

I see no reason to bother with the TRD for the extra money. I've been happy with my Tokicos since I've had them.

I was wondering that if not considering the price, how would people compare the TRD Tokiko's?

Not to thread jack, but I bought the TRD's for $250 (new in the box) from someone, and just wanted to see what people thought of them performance wise as compared to the Tokiko's.

They're probably fine (and a killer deal at $250 if that's what you paid). I haven't driven on TRDs, but my assumption would be they're both pretty close as far as performance goes. I don't know if there would be enough difference to pick one over the other - so you're better just picking whichever you get a better deal on.

Yeah, I that's what i figured. And at that price, I knew I couldn't pass them up.

Hopefully the weather will warm up soon, so I can get them on and see how I like them.

I love My TRD's..... They are great handling shock and the ride is super smooth.. I am lowered on eibach sportlines ( basically 2 inches) and I havent got a complaint yet.

if you want a decent product for the cheapest price available for our car, get tokico.
if you don't mind the extra effort in installation and the extra $$, but direly want adjustability and quality, get konis.
if you want trd stuff for the trd price, get trd.

what do you think of these from ebay, the color seems different but is it the same as the Blue Shock series or same as the one sold by fastscion

Those are the same ones... but be sure to compare prices AFTER shipping b/c that eBay shipping is expensive - but I don't know what fastscions will charge for it.

ok, I ended up buying one from the ebay store. Tokico shipped for $395.

How much do u think it would cost to replace the stocks by a shop?

can someone gimmie some info on what (With 49mm OE KYB Only, *Special McPherson Strut Insert) means?

my ride is starting to get bad, so I'm considering these from the high praise everyone has given them but i want to see if its worth it?

I think the front Koni's for our cars are just inserts. They involve cutting the factory struts and fitting the components in. I think
