Default TRD Sway & Strut Bar review

Well just installed both my TRD sway bar and strut bar at the same time, no i did not test each individually so no asking if the strut bar really made a difference. But here is what i will explain

before
install tips
test drive

my only other suspension mod is Tein Htech springs, and honestly after installing them there was little to no difference to how it handled, it turned like a cow before, and turned like a lowered cow after i would let go of the throttle early in turns and usually power through after the turn, i had never EVER made my tires loose contact with the pavement, it just felt unatural and dangerously sloppy

to install the sway bar i did not remove ANYTHING exept the old sway bar. I simply backed my car onto portable ramps and went to work, there is only one way to take the old sway out without unbolting anything else, so take ur time, and use comon sense, dont force it out, i simply takes practice, and the same way it came out is the same way the new bar goes in

WOW what a difference it made, i was powering through corners in second gear and my tires were screeching for a break, not once did i feel out of control or had to let of the gas, just pointed and it went, next upgrade will definitely be my tires cuz these crappy nexens just couldnt keep up with the rest of the car.

honestly the tc should have come with the bar from the factory, definitely inexpensive and the fun factor is amazing, god only knows what Hotchkis front and rear sways feel like

im definitely a happy customer

buy upgraded shocks and you won't overpower. believe me. when you get springs, get shocks. springs just give you the lowered look...

lol my Hotchkiss F/R setup feels really nice. It was mostly the rear bar that made a difference since the stock rear was so pathetic. But my front end is a lot stiffer now too, and I feel like I could turn-in faster with more control. WHen I first test drove it, I went at a speed the tires couldnt keep up, and stupid ol me let go of the gas and next thing you know I was facing the curb at an angle. IT was quite a pleasant surprise to know I can oversteer as well now too.

Did you set the rear sway bar to the race setting?
