which one would you guys recommend. i have it narrowed down to these two but i am not sure which springs to get.?

 

I had the Pro-Kit!

I loved the Handling of them with Stock Wheels.

 

I have no experience with the Eibach Pro Kit springs.

I love my TRD springs on the tC with the 17'' wheels that come from factory. The handling is quickly noticeable comparing from the stock factory springs.

To me the quality of the ride is far better than on factory springs mainly because it feels more sporty. I have yet to complain about it and whether I am in traffic or on a canyon I can not and will not complain about the ride quality. However the passengers such as my dad don't like it. At the end of the day it is on how you want your vehicle to feel.

I am currently using it on stock struts and I did not need to change or modify any other part of the suspension to get the springs working properly on it. Only alignment after a week or so when it settled down a bit.

All in all it feels like a whole new car. And for street use I am sure you will be satisfied. I wouldn't know what to do without them on the canyons! (besides take turns slower )

I had trd for a year! I absolutely loved them. The ride was perfectly fine, and the handling was improved a little. I used stock struts/shocks as well.

Only thing I didnt like about TRD springs was the ride height. besides that, I'd go TRD.

Should of went with Eibach Pro-Kit....

 

I'd heard the TRD springs are made by Eibach, and that they're the same (rate & height), other than price & color...wish we had some proof either way, but I haven't seen any.

 

I belive TRD is a re-badged Eibach kit..so pretty much you were picking between 2 of the same products with different names..lol

 

Got the springs in the mail this morning. Does anyone know where the best place would be to rent a spring compressor?

Try Autozone, they supposedly loan them out if you give them a $40 deposit (fully refundable)

 

Or just go to Sears and buy some. Probably wont be the last car you lower and you'll have all the tools you need right there at the house. But, you can rent them of course.

 

My trd springs in the rear seem to sit lower then the fronts. Only dislike of mine!

 

They are like that, mine too.

 

I wish it were the other way around and a tad lower in the front!

 

heres rear trd compares to stock

i juz installed mine today....the fronts were easy. the rears were a pain in the a**..
idk why the rear looks lower than the front ??? i thought they wud be equal

 

at my autozone..it cost 55+tax to rent. Then I get a full refund, tax and all. So I spent nothing on spring compressors!

 

been on my trds with stock struts for two years. they're great. my only complaint is that i wish it was a tad bit lower but other than that im pretty happy.
