what happens in the winter
hey i live in New York. and i was wondering. what do you guys do in the winter time. the tc is only a front wheel drive car. is their anything special you do to your car to make it better in the snow? lmk
thanks
thanks
yeah, get winter tires! OR just drive very carefully....... even in NYC, I find that if youre stuck in ice or snow, ppl understand and wont honk like mad like they normally would. Front wheel drive isnt bad in the snow.... compared to rear wheel drive. Of course all wheel drive is better but ANY drive would slip in the ice. Dont know what part of NY youre in, but unless youre up north like in Buffalo, you should be ok just driving on all season tires with a light foot and lots of care.
I have driven mine in Minneapolis in the winter with no issues. The car I mostly drive in the winter (my older saturn) is also FWD. No issues either. The fiance gets the 4Runner, so I drive the cars
2 boston winters and everything is good, just drive carefully and use your head and you'll be fine. Snow tires are good too if you really want them, but they're not needed unless you're running summer tires.
