Default What would I need to do to get a plusher ride quality?

The tc is nice, but I am really not into the sporty suspension. on large bumps it hits pretty hard... Any ideas what would need to be replaced to give it a smoother ride?

I hate to say it, but you bought the wrong car.

Taller tires will help the ride quality a little bit, but there isn't much you can do.

I drove a friend's Acura TL before test driving a tC and thought the tC was a far softer ride. The others are right, you bought the wrong car and you should have bought a Camry or a Solara. The most you can do at this point is switch to 15" or 16" wheels.

Really? The tC is pretty damn soft. I'm with 2fast, you can just opt for smaller wheels.

I didn't buy the car yet... I think I will have to do a second test drive... The first was stiff... but it may have just been the seats and not the car itself.

well if you havent bought the car, the ride doesnt get much smoother.....

its not a bad ride fro the amount of control...but if you can't stand it, then like everyone else said dont buy it...

good luck with your decision....i can personally say overall i love my tC....and it rides rougher with the TRD sway i just installed

The car may have had springs and/or a sway bar installed on it. That will affect the ride.
