Hey guys I figure I would post this here seeing as how the "Tread and Butter" section is mostly Xb stuff. I need a set of 16" track wheels that will fit on a stock tC. I don't know anything about clearances for wheels etc. I was thinking perhaps going to a junk yard and picking up some 5 lug 16" wheels would be easiest. There is no aesthetic value necessary in these wheels.... Just cost effective and perhaps low weight. Any suggestions???

well since your not going with a bigger wheel why would you be worried about wheel clearance?

 

Brakes, for one.

good point on brake clearance but Im still not sure it would matter since they are 16"...if it was 15 it could be close.

I was wondering what the smallest wheels that would fit were for some slicks, so I checked my spare and it's a 17 as well.

spares are usually the smallest thing that could possibly fit, but looking in the front wheels, it doesn't look like smaller wheels can fit.
