Default Who says you can't tuck on Megan coilovers???

So I decided to tweak the front coilovers a little to get a little more intimate with the ground...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, crappy cell phone pics FTL... (wife has the camera with her on vacation out of state...)

But despite what most others have said about the Megans... tuckng brand new Kumhos on Megan Racing Coilovers FTMFW !!!

Better pics to follow, hopefully next week when I get the camera back...

So... just to show that Megans can drop like most of them out there...

I only adjusted the front today, so the rears are the same as before, but here's an old pic... (better pic since it was taken with the camera, and not my cell )

I basically took one of the THREE collars out (I don't know why there's three, seems like overkill) and lowered the two remaining collars to lower the height to where it sits at the moment...

Actually the car sat a little lower after I drove it around some more last night... I guess it didn't finish settling after the first test drive... pics to follow when I get the flippin' camera back...

Gold first, then the black... I always start with the lighter colors first so that the black doesn't make the gold dull...

They have always been easy to tuck in the front. The problem is in the rear. You get the rears to tuck and let me know which springs you are running, you'll be my hero.

It's not in the spring, it's in the rear lower mounts... you just have to get the new updated ones from Megan... I don't have their number with me (I'm at work) but they will send you the new lower mounts if you show them proof of purchase...

I might adjust the rears a lil' more when I find some time and the temp outside gets a lil' lower... but I'm already rubbing plastic fenderliner on the front... they're gonna fly out any minute now... lol

Do you remember what springs you have in the rear. I am so psyched now.

Off the top of my head, nah, I don't remember the numbers... but they are the softer of the two sets that I got... I almost want to say that the numbers ended with an "8" but I could be wrong...

BTW, I dialed mine in with little to no neg camber... it'll tuck more with more neg camber...

nope, I don't get any feeling like it's bottoming out... you might want to make sure that any bumpstops are either taken out or at least cut in half... look at your control arms, I think that there are some bumpstops there that could be modified...

I've had trucks that would lay frame (on airbags) so it's all in how the suspension is set up...

I guess you could run the stiffer springs in the rear, but the ride would be a lil' harsher... I have the TRD rear sway so that makes it handle great in the turns while I get a better ride from the softer springs in the rear.
