Default Worried about a "hole" I had to go through today

Hey guys,

I was driving today and went through a section of road work today. I was going at about... 10-15 mph and didn't see a sudden height drop on the road surface, and just went into it without slowing down. It's about a 2 to 3 inch drop, and the two front tires just went THUMP, and then the rear. I was able to see the ones on the other side on my way back up and slow to a crawl, so it was good there.

Can that damage the car in any way? My car is completely stock by the way, and so the rims look fine. I'm worried about what I can't see from the outside.

Thanks,

Mike

How do you know your alignment is off? My steering feels normal....

when you drive straight your car turns in a different direction. when i turn my wheel to the right a bit my car drives straight but when i actually make the wheel as straight as possible my car leans towards the left while driving straight. i need to get it fixed.

2-3 inches drop doesnt sound too bad, i wouldnt worry about it unless you really feel something different.

Yeah, everything feels the same. I also did some reading on suspensions and it sounds like the suspension of a car is pretty tolerable to verticle drops, but it's when you run into a bump, or going "upwards" that you have to worry about since that's when a horizontal force is applied.
