Default Xb - bB suspension cross ?

Hi there ! I live in New Zealand. I have a Jap market 2001 Toyota bB Opendeck, which I personally imported for it's cool looks and promo possibilities ! I'm having a few know-how difficulties, as it is not a mainstream car here, and was never officially imported by Toyota New Zealand. As you'll know, the US Scion Xb is based on the Toyota bB, and I was wondering if the standard Scion Xb front suspension struts will fit the Toyota bB ? Alternatively, does anybody know if the Toyota Echo front struts are physically the same size as the Scion Xb standard struts ? If it helps, my bB's frame code is NCP34. Any help much appreciated !

yes the xB struts will fit.
the echo struts will fit, but will make the car sit 1/2" lower than xB/bB struts.

Thanks ! I can live with that, as my current OEM struts are runnin' on empty ! Are rears the same situation - Echo OK ? (bearing in mind that mine's an 'Opendeck', a bit different at the back than the Scion ?)
