ZPIracing is proud to release it’s first of many chassis refinement products. The ZPIracing engine limiter is for the serious Scion enthusiast. These products are built for the street tested on the track from the one company that started it all ZPIracing “The World Leader in Scion Performance”
The ZPIracing Scion tC engine limiter is a lower engine brace that attaches at two separate locations to the tC transmission and then attaches to the lower core support. By tying the drive train into the chassis of the vehicle we are able to minimize engine travel in hard acceleration and cornering situations. This will cure the common wheel hop associated with the tC platform as well as any other side effect caused by the extreme engine movement turbo tC owners are faced with. We are also able to counter act the linkage popping out of 3rd gear on high horsepower cars by eliminating the sideways torque of the drive train. .
The engine limiter is tig welded to perfection with a flat black finish for the show car enthusiast. The ZPI engine limiter includes all hardware needed for a trouble free installation.

I am way ahead of you Mike. I was talking to Kenny about this earlier. Brian is the first one with it on his car. It came into development because of Brian's car...lol.
Car was on the dyno, and it would hit the Torque so hard that it would pop the linkage out off, causing the car to come out of Gear. The U bent pipe coming off the turbo (when the motor would Rock so hard) caused that pipe to actually ding on the hood.
Hence the creation of this product to keep the motor solid mounted.

This ties to the front of the car so the feedback into the cabin is nowhere near as bad as it is with the other "etd" on the market..This is the real deal same thing as used on 10.5 outlaw cars.

1. Why I love the tC
It is very quiet and refined for its price and power output.
2. Why I hate the tC (besides being FWD)
There is WAY too much engine/drivetrain lash.
This product can help that problem without sacrificing too much else. Hats off to ZPI. I can't imagine anybody wanting to buy a stiffy (unless the price changes) with this product out. Ygr great thing is that I will definitely be going FI in a month or so, and this is a great way to get acquainted with ZPI products. If I'm happy with this purchase, I see no reson why I wouldn't choose ZPI for my turbo. I'm very excited to start doing business with this company.
