they look good man. you def need spacers to push them out. once you do that they will look even better. those are actually the size tires im thinking about switching to. im running 215/35 right now.

Never liked that Center Cap for those type of wheels...look better w/o the CC.

Whats the Offset of the wheels?

The wheels look Very Sunken!....Theres no point to have such a Skinny tire on those wheels.

really..? You like them without the center caps? Thats a first time i hear that but each to their own you know...' BUT IMA GET THE CENTER PIECE POLISHED TO MATCH THE LIP AND IMA PAINT THE CENTER CAR RED.

offset i dont know... Is high tho.. Since its a little tucked

about the wheels if i go bigger tires will increase chance of rubbing and the 215/45 are streched so their are no so skinny in my opinion fits just about right with height of the car.

What wheels? You running post pics?? Thanks

spacers, wide rims, narrow tires, and redrilled wheels. hope you dont do canyon carving, or carry a child. the only other icing would be not having hub centric adaptors.

^ Uh oh another "that's scary" or "it's unsafe to stretch tires" etc etc...

Yeah what's the offset on those? To be a 9.5 those are pretty sunk. I'd polish 'em up or something just to set them off, for a multi-piece look wheel the finish is a little too uniform. I'd say w/o the cap but that's not the best redrill I've seen so throw that cap on there. Not even that much of a stretch really.

I hope you weren't lifting from the front of the car like that.

Dude you sound like my grandma bro???... No offense ... First off I live in Florida . There is no canyons around here lol ... Just some really nice roads to drive .... Second am not the first one to do this , most members in here have 17x9 or 17x10 even that's not including all the 18"s and 19"s and even 20"/s that some people here be putting in their cars lol . And finally if you are aware I mentioned ichiba spacers those are hub-centric spacers just so you know they fit the scion hub perfect without play.

Offset - prob 40 or 45 they are high offset , that'd what I have in mind polished the whole face so it looks better am not feeling the silver paint that much ... About the redrill it may not be the best looking but it's the safest way to redrill , plus I like the center caps so I don't mind about that .. And finally about the lifting the car ... Lol the jack support is right there .... Where else am I suppose to lift the car from ....?? Lol

I was just saying that there is a vendor that my company uses and their inserts look better/cleaner but if it gets the job done. I've never lifted from the front like that there are 2 jack points along the side skirts, just seems like a better idea than the front. Either way, as long as it didn't tear thru the bumper.

^^you can lift from the front, there is a jack point for all the sides.

looks pretty good, there just looks like there is too much open space behind and in front of the front wheel. looks weird too me.

Those wheels are basically stock offset wheels...Need a lower Offset wheel.

I have 18x8 wheels w/ a 20 Offset, I am fender Flush.

Not the Greatest angle...

ichiba spacers!! come with studs already....... why is that so hard to figure out.???? they are hub-centric spacers with studs... so there will be no vibration and i will have more than enough room to tighten everything good.

i am not gonna run cheap pepboy slip on spacers lol...

yeah. when i mean what do you guys think????? i want opinions on how to get them to flush more.... maybe recommend a size spacers... or a diff tire size tire.... not tell me dont drive with a kid in the car.???? or hope you dont run canyons...... WTF????? lol....

i did not go no cheap route possible?? what are you talking about.....? these rims were re-drilled proffesionally not by some guy in their backyard.. lol.....

i liked this style wheel and how they look on the car.... besides! those pictures are only test fit. once i get the spacers they will come outmore.....

and ..............

NO I DONT WANT LOWER OFFSET WHEELS...... THESE ARE PERFECT WITH THE 15MM THEY WILL SIT JUST ABOUT FLUSHED..... AND I WONT HAVE TO RUN A NEGATIVE ___ AND A HALF CAMBER TO MAKE THEM SIT NICE....
THE LOWER OFFSET I GO THE MORE CAMBER IM GONNA HAVE TO GO NEGATIVE... WITH THE HIGH OFFSET THE SPACER WILL JUST BRING THE WHEEL OUT STRIGHT AS A STRAW.... AND NO CAMBER PROBLEMS FOR ME!

What is redrilling? Also refered to by many as shaving, redrilling is a process where a competent tech at a machine shop takes a wheel and cuts a new bolt pattern in it, different from the one it came with. there are several methods of doing it and many places to get it done.
There are two way that wheels get redrilled, and there's a process called "Fill and Drill." I'll try to detail them as much as I can.

A simple redrill is where a new bolt pattern is cut into the wheel and nothing else is done. Sometimes the new pattern crosses over holes for the old one, leaving only a partial seat for the lug nut to rest in. I personally do not like this method, though I've seen it work just fine many times.
See pic:

A simple redrill is just fine when there's ample room to cut a clean new pattern:

Redrilling with steel inserts is a better option, IMHO. The inserts go inside the newly cut hole, and give your lug a full 360 degree seat to rest .

SO FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SUCH AN ISSUE WITH REDRILLING THERE IS A SMALL INFO... IS NOT SOMETHING THATS NEW.. AND WHEN ITS DONE RIGHT IT WILL WORK JUST LIKE ANY ORIGINAL RIM..... I USED TO HAVE SOME RACING HARTS RE-DRILL USED THEM FOR 2 YEARS THEN I SOLD THE CAR NEVER HAD AN ISSUE... SOME OF YOU GUYS ARE ACTING LIKE SOMEONE IS GONNA PUT A FINGER IN YOUR BUTTS AND START FREAKING OUT WHEN IT COMES TO RE-DRILLING... LOL.. WAO...
