TRD gives you a nice subtle drop and you won't have to really worry about scraping. You should do both springs and shocks/struts. I have that set up, and I've only scraped once...and it was my fault.

There are other springs besides s-techs and trds. Check out h-techs or H&R sports.

well i am getting the p1 lip kit so i dont think thats gonna add a very big drop, but i want a finger or so gap between my fender and top of my tire. What do you recommend? hotchkis? trd? or S techs? and are they all the same performance output also?

Its typically not a matter of whether you will scrape or not but rather if you let yourself scrape.

As far as rubbing goes, if you put 245 width tires on there you will rub with s-techs. It really depends on the roads where you live, if there arent any dips and bumps you might not ever rub if you drive slow. I am dropped on progress springs (1.8") with 18x7.5 +35 wheels with 225/40/18 and I rub alot going over dips. But then again the roads here are garbage and getting worse.

with any drop you are gonna scrap eventually somewhere. i drive extremely careful and i still scrape at some places. especially if its in an area where you are unfamiliar with the terrain (i.e. dips, speed bumps, drive ways.)
