Default 18" TRD's - Need help identifying

There is a local seller here in Dallas, TX that is selling 4 18" TRD wheels off a 2005 Matrix TRD edition....I didn't even know they made such a thing.

Despite that, he doesn't know the bolt pattern or offset.

He is only asking $80 for them because 2 of them are bent. I have guy that will repair the bent wheel and primer them for $75/ea

So potentially its $80 + $150 = $230 and then I just powdercoat them or paint them myself.

Can anyone identify if these are actually from a Scion or not and if not, do you think they would fit.

Matrix's have a 5x100 bolt pattern, just not sure of the offset on 18"

same wheel...

ur good to go. but the offset sucks on those rims..

Explain the offset to me...that means it will be sucked in under the wheel well?

Im about to go to TRD springs this weekend..will that help?

This is the same wheel right?

According to that site its only 42mm offset...arent stock rims 45mm?

Is 3mm really that much?

the wheels are 18x7.5 +42. Meaning is will be 8mm flusher than the 17 oem wheels. it is not going to be anywhere near flush really, it will still be sunken in.

So these actually push the wheels out MORE (by 8mm) than the standard OEM wheels..but the 8mm is negligible because it is so small...am I understanding your statement correctly?

Im not a stickler on Flushness, I just want to be dropped on TRD springs and have no wheel gap, 18's should help this out a lot.

And also these are probably going Gunmetal or Black...

yes it pushes it out more by .31 inches.

Thank you. I could quote you COBOL or VB script all day, but I am dumber than a bag of rocks when it comes to wheel offsets and sizes.

I called and i'm picking em up tomorrow!

nice but with a trd drop u will still have gap.

i had stechs on my tc with the super7s and the rear still had a gap but the fronts were perfect

but those rims are a good price!

For future reference, if you want to know if something is actually TRD or made for Scion, you can look it up at trdsparks.

They're $224 each new, so you're getting a pretty good deal - if you like those wheels. Just like with everything else, you'll get a lot of different opinions here, especially about wheels. But the choice is yours.

Well, I will be running stock struts, so I wanted to get springs that had a similar enough spring rate that would still allow me to run stockies...as long as it doesnt look like the 4x4 it is now

Thank you for the link. I didn't even think to check there for legitimacy. And as far as the rims, for the price...I can't pass it up, and with my limited budget on wheels, I just don't have the money to blow $500 or $600 on wheels...then buy the tires. With tires I am getting out for under $400

bsp tc has s-techs and the WP has h-tech, i had trds before and the wheel gap with 18"s was horrible as i don't have a pic of the car with trd springs.

the wheels you posted are legit and for the price of what your paying for them and repairing them isn't bad at all.
