well these came off a chevy p/u and went on a 69 camaro, i think we shaved down about 8mm..........they were 20x10 in the rear and 20x9 in the front, the problem was the front......
it ended up working perfect, until the spacer cracked.

seems like alot of trouble just for plain silver TE37's. Its not a super rare wheel and people wont appreciate the work you put into mounting them, especially when there are Celica and WRX owners running 5x100 TE37's.

if you do shave the wheel, remember to have the center bore tapered or the wheel wont sit flat against the hub (if you use hubcentric rings).

I dont know who would trade their 5x100 wheels for your 5x114.3 wheels. They will fit really nicely on any 5 lug Honda/Acura. Or a 2005+ WRX STI (2004 and below are 5x100).

if your trying to get an evo buyer to buy these you may have a problem, most evo owners go 8.5 to 9inches......but ill ask around for you.

i was hoping some good news would come from this....
i am looking at a set of wheels
18x8.5 35 offset front
18x9.5 35 offset rear....

the thing is they only make them for 4x100, 4x114.3, 5x114.3, 5x120..ONLY...
i am going to try and see if they can make me a custom set!!

i was hoping there was a way around it...

this is for my TC!!

Offset is the theoretical distance from the edge of your hub to the CENTER of the wheel. It is not the distance to the front edge of the wheel. So by adding a spacer, you're pushing the wheel farther out, and basically centering it over the wheel hub. Imagine looking at the wheel from directly above. I rubbed with 38mm offset, 18x8, 225/40/18. I swtiched to Enkeis witha 45mm offset and bought new tires the same size as before. That should fix my rubbing problem, Hopefully that helps. BTW - make that 5x100/5x114 adapter as this as possible, watch your drop, and roll those fenders! Good luck.
